The Family Homes Artisans Skills Training (FAST) program is an initiative of C-STEMP and fully supported by the African Development Bank\’s (AfDB), the Family Homes Fund and the Federal Ministry of Finance in Nigeria.
C-STEMP is a Non Governmental Organization dedicated to training, empowering and supporting young people by connecting them to industry leadership and opportunities for growth.
As a pioneering institution in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), C-STEMP is committed to empowering individuals through comprehensive training in technology, skills development, and entrepreneurship, ultimately revolutionizing their lives and futures.
Family Homes Artisans Skills Training (FAST) Program 2025
The African Development Bank\’s (AfDB) Family Homes Artisans Skills Training (FAST) program is offering skills training and apprenticeships to 2,000 artisans in 12 Nigerian states over the next two years.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicant must be above the age 18
- Interest to learn and upskill
- Basic literacy
- No prior experience needed in trade of interest
Available Trades Skills
- Plumbing Installation
- Electrical Installation
- Tiling
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Masonry
Training Locations
✅ North-West – Katsina, Kano
✅ North-East – Bauchi, Adamawa
✅ South-East – Enugu, Abia
✅ South-South – Akwa Ibom, Delta
✅ South-West – Ogun. Lagos
✅ North-Central – Abuja, Niger
Training Duration
1. 3~6 months . Depending on the skill
2. 18- 35 years
3. Part-time. Attendance is 3 times a week.
4. There are stipends. And take off tools.
