Job Responsibilities
- Assisting in Teaching and Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials for undergraduate programmes.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain office hours for student consultation and academic advising.
- Research and Scholarship:
- Conduct original research in your field or discipline.
- Publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Seek and secure research funding through grants and other sources.
- Present research at academic conferences and seminars.
- Service and Outreach:
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees.
- Engage in professional development activities.
- Contribute to community outreach programs and initiatives.
- Mentor and support the academic and professional growth of students.
Required Qualifications
- A 1st Class/2nd Class Upper Bachelor’s Degree, good Master’s Degree from an accredited institution from disciplines of Arabic, Criminology/Peace Studies, Islamic Studies, Intl Relations, Sociology, History and any other related.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and publish high-quality research.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with online and hybrid teaching formats.
- Established network within the academic and professional community.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations.
