The Barau I Jibrin Foundation (BIJF) invites application from academically sound graduates in Nigeria for the BIJF Domestic postgraduate scholarship programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The Barau Jbrin Foundation is a non governmental organisation dedicated to fostering academic excellence and providing educational opportunities to deserving graduates of Kano State. Notably, the foundation, under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Barau Jibrin, CFR, the Deputy President of the Senate, has recently sponsored 70 students for master\’s degree programs abroad.
BIJF Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Programme 2025 Call for Application
The Foundation is pleased to announce our Domestic postgraduate scholarship programme for the 2025/2026 academic session and invite applications from qualified individuals.
This was disclosed in a public advert from the office of the Secretary of the Foundation – Maikudi Lawan, PhD for the Postgraduate Scholarship Committee.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Below 35 years at the time of application
- Education: First-degree in Computer Science 2.
- Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a CGPA of 3 and above (5.0 Scale).
- O\’Level Credits: Five O\’Level Credits including English and Mathematics
Scholarship Coverage
This initiative aims to support 300 outstanding graduates from recognized universities, to pursue their postgraduate studies at selected universities across Nigeria. The programme offers a unique opportunity for academic growth, research, and human capital development in various fields of science and technology, empowering the next generation.
