NLNG Scholarship 2022/2023 Scheme for Secondary School Students in Nigeria

As part of its social responsibility in education, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), invites applications from qualified candidates for the NLNG Post Primary Scholarship Scheme for students in secondary schools or seeking admission into Secondary Schools in Nigeria.

Available NLNG Scholarships 2022/2023

The Nigeria NLG Limited currently has two NLNG Scholarship 2022/2023 award schemes available for Nigerian students. They are:

• The NLNG Post Primary Scholarship Scheme 2022/2023
• The NLNG Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme 2022/2023

NLNG Post Primary Scholarship Scheme 2022/2023

The NLNG Post Primary Scholarship Scheme seek to grow a pool of high potential Nigerian graduates and professionals with a competitive advantage.

Scholarship Details 

The scheme aims at assisting high performing basic six pupils in company’s host communities to access post primary education with ease.

The NLNG Secondary School Scholarship Scheme kicked off in 2012 with 28 beneficiaries and, by 2019, it had grown to 342 beneficiaries with a total sum of N825,300,000 ($2.697m) expended to date.

Prospective pupils are admitted to the scheme through application on company\’s website based on advertised criteria. A selection test is then conducted to place the best top candidates onto the scheme.

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), as part of its social investment initiative in education, invites applications from interested and qualified primary school pupils, for its 2022/2023 POST PRIMARY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD.

The scheme seeks to support high performing Basic Five and Six pupils through secondary school education

Selection Criteria

To apply for the Nigeria LNG Limited Scholarship, prospective beneficiary must:

1. Be an indigene of any of the NLNG host communities
2. Be a Basic: 5 or 6 pupil
3. Provide his/her Basic Five result sheet.
4. Provide an attestation letter stamped & signed by the Head Teacher of his/her current school contact selephone number of the Head Teacher must be stated in the letter)
5. Provide an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in his/her community.
6. Provide a letter of identification from his/her Local Government Council
7. Provide recent passport-sized photograph without glasses (photo token not earlier than January 2022)
8. Not be a child or ward of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited
9. Not be more than 12 year of age

Interested candidates should follow the steps below:

1. Visit www.nigerialng.com to apply. Go on the /Social Performance/ menu to select /Education from the drop-down menu.
2. Then click on the PPSS Scholarship Application Scheme link on the Related Links section of the page to access the application portal.
3. Click on /Register Here/ to create a profile and commence the application process.

• All requested documents must be uploaded. Incomplete attachments may lead to disqualification of application
• Applicants must fill in volid contact details (email and telephone number) as these will be used to communicate the status of the application
• Applicants are advised to check their email boxes regularly for information on the status of their application
• Application will be disqualified for falsification of documents and non adherence to advertised criteria
• Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for the Selection Test
