The Obafemi Awolowo University OAU, Ile-ife has sacked one Dr. Adebayo Mosubolaje over molestation intimidation, harassment and coition of a female student. The dismissed lecturer is of the department of English Language, Faculty of Arts in the University.
In a statement by the University Public Relations Officer, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju, the governing council of the Institution found him guilty of the misconduct against a female student.
The statement said that the council’s decision was taken after it deliberated on the report of its joint committee and the school senate which investigated the case of harassment against the lecturer.
