The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has announced the opening of its portal for the registration of candidates for the AFIT Post UTME and Direct Entry Exams.

AFIT Post UTME and Direct Entry Registration Portal
The AFIT Registration Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Portal will be open from 8 July to 8 August 2024 to allow candidates with UTME score of 160 and above and selected AFIT as first choice in the 2024 UTME exams for degree programmes, to join the institute for the following courses.

Requirements for AFIT Post UTME and Direct Entry Admission
Interested applicants for admission into AFIT through JAMB UTME and Direct Entry must have the following requirements to register for the Post UTME Screening.
- Applicant must be a Nigerian
- Applicant must have at least 5 O’level credit including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings
- Applicant must have done the last JAMB with minimum UTME score of 200 for Degree programmes and minimum UTME score of 160 for National Diploma programmes.
- Applicant must have selected AFIT as first choice in JAMB. You can however change your first-choice institution to AFIT on or before 1st of August 2024 for degree programmes.
AFIT JAMB Cut-Off Mark
The Minimum JAMB cut off score to get admission into the Air Force Institute of Technology is 200 for Degree programmes and 160 for National Diploma programmes. You can change your first choice institution to AFIT if you made this score.
AFIT Post UTME Registration Fee
Interested and qualified candidates are to pay the following non-refundable fees:
- Degree (B.Sc/B.Eng.) post-UTME screening fee: Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only
- National Diploma programmes post-UTME screening fee: Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only
- Pre-HND and HND programmes post-UTME screening fee: Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only
How to Apply
To apply, kindly visit the official AFIT Registration Portal and follow the 10 steps below to complete the AFIT 2024/2025 Post UTME online application procedure:
- Step 1: visit the AFIT application portal at https://portal.afit.edu.ng. Once there, select your specific application.
- Step 2: Click on the down arrow or scroll down the page to input your Registration Number to Check your eligibility and see your course.
- Step 3: Click on the more information button beside the course to view the course requirements. This enables you to view the requirements, registration fee, duration, application closing date, and session.
- Step 4: Click on the Apply Now button.
- Step 5: If you have an existing account, click on Login with Google.
- Step 6: If you do not have an account, click on Sign up with Google
- Note: You can also log in and sign up manually, by providing your details in the form below the buttons in steps 4 & 5. Also to create an account, you need a valid email address, phone number and choose a password with the right combination. Once you provided all the details, a verification code will be sent to your email address, and you will need to provide the code in the spaces provided for you to successfully create an account. Thereafter, you login using the email address and password you provided.
- Step 7: Once you have successfully logged in or registered your account, click on the Proceed to application form button.
- Note: You will be directed to an application fee payment page. Kindly follow the payment instructions on the payment page, check the 2 boxes provided and click on precede to payment. Once your payment is successful, you can now access the application form.
- To view the status of your payment, check your “Transaction history” tab on your application portal. - Step 8: Select Preview & Submit after completing the form.
- Step 9: To make changes to your entries on the form, click Update form.
- Step 10: To submit the form, click Submit form.

AFIT Registration Deadline and Post UTME Exam Date
The AFIT Post UTME 2024/2025 registration portal opens today 8th July and will be closed for new registration on 8 August 2024. The AFIT post UTME date for screening examination for the 2024/2025 academic session is 10, September 2024.
