The Federal Ministry of Youth Development FMYD is calling on interested young Nigerians to Register and join the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) designed to Empower Nigerian Youths for Economic Self-Emancipation by equipping Cooperative Youth Farmers, Foodpreneurs, Agro-Alied Entrepreneurs and others.
Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP)” is a pro-youth economic self-emancipation empowerment initiative whose aim is to facilitate and provide adequate economic engagement of youths for active economic participation, nation-building, economic development, de-radicalization and national security.
This aim is designed to be achieved by creating and nurturing the enabling economic platforms and opportunities needed by youths to be active participants in the economy and to contribute to social and economic development, as well as political stability and national security.
YEIDEP is a youth-focused strategic socio-economic emancipation empowerment intervention launched and anchored by Youths Off The Street Initiative (YOTSI) through the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in collaboration with the Nigerian Senate (10th Assembly), through its Committee on Sports Development.
Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP)
YEIDEP is structured to mitigate youth unemployment, grow Nigeria’s economy and alleviate household poverty by helping youths to access the business financing, enterprise development services and other basic economic incentives and empowerment platforms needed to transform themselves into entrepreneurs, job creators, income earners and builders of wealth.

Eligibility Criteria for YEIDEP
The program is open to only those who fall within the following categories can apply
- Must be a Nigeria
- Must be within the age of 20 and 45 years
- Must be willing to learn and implement new ideas
- Unemployed or underemployed youth
- Youths affected by violence, poverty, or social risk
- Returnees who need help to re-integrate
- Youths who want to start small businesses or join cooperatives
