Baze University in Abuja Nigeria is partnering with the World Bank, Federal Ministry of Education and Domineum to offer full study Scholarship for Professional Diploma in Emerging Technology Skills at the University.
The Baze University Scholarship is an IDEAS program aimed at helping the Federal Government achieve its targets as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). IDEAS places its focus on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative strategies.
IDEAS is an Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project of the Federal Ministry of Education.
Baze University IDEAS Programme
The program aligns with various SDGs established by the United Nations, creating a direct impact in the following areas:
- Quality Education: IDEAS contributes to SDG 4 by providing affordable and high-quality vocational training for young Nigerians.
- Decent Work: Addressing SDG 8, IDEAS promotes full and productive employment opportunities for all youth.
- Reduced Inequalities: Actively working towards SDG 10, the Programme empowers individuals and fosters social inclusion, thereby reducing inequalities.
- Stronger Partnerships: IDEAS supports SDG 17 by fostering collaboration among public, private, and civil society organizations.
IDEAS aims to play a pivotal role in shaping a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous future for Nigeria through active engagement with the above SDGs.
The Baze University Ideas program is designed to Certify interested applicants with Professional Diploma in the following Emerging Technology Skills all for free.Â
- Professional Diploma in Artificial Intelligence
- Professional Diploma in Business Intelligence and Dashboard
- Professional Diploma in Cybersecurity
- Professional Diploma in Data Analytics
- Professional Diploma in Digital Literacy
- Professional Diploma in Software Engineering
- Professional Diploma in Blockchain Development
Training Location
The program involves both Physical and Virtual Trainings. The Physical Training centers are only in Abuja and Jigawa States. Training in the other states will be all virtual. This means that interested applicants must have access to Computer, Data and anything necessary for online class.
