The PTDF Overseas Scholarship Scheme 2025 is a postgraduate scholarship program offered by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for Nigerian citizens at some selected prestigious universities in Europe. Here’s everything you need to know about the scheme:

Eligibility Criteria

MSc Applicants:

1. Minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) qualification in their first degree or Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
2. Completed National Youth Service (NYSC)
3. Computer literate
4. 5 O/level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
5. Statement of purpose (maximum 500 words)

PhD Applicants:

1. Minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) in their first degree and a good postgraduate degree
2. Completed National Youth Service (NYSC)
3. Computer literate
4. 5 O/level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
5. Research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry (not more than five pages)
